Private Mentorships

Do you feel stuck personally or professionally?

Would you like to learn more about a life topic but don’t have the time or knowledge to seek out the right information and materials?

Are you in an anthropology class or program and find that the subject eludes or confuses you?

I can help!

My name is Professor E.A. Burlingame and I have been teaching anthropology to children, teenagers and adults for more than a decade. My focus is on how anthropology knowledge and anthropology teachings can be applied in a practical manner to personal issues and everyday lived human life.

Anthropology is the holistic and scientific study of us! Anthropologists have been collecting and sharing human knowledge for over a century.

This knowledge can be applied in a manner that brings insight into your own life. I can show you how anthropology can reveal to you more about yourself and more about the humans around you.

I absolutely love teaching anthropology to people for this very purpose and there is no better way to do this than through a private anthropology mentorship with me.

If this interests you and you are ready to make personal exploration and personal improvement a priority in your life, then please continue reading and apply through the link below.

Some example areas for possible anthropology mentorship:

Anthropology course or program help at the undergraduate or graduate levels

Dissertation guidance

Childbirth through culture, language, history and biology for birth professionals and/or personal agency

Gender power structure insight and navigation for professionals

Leadership training for personal and/or professional growth

Courtship, sexuality and dating to create personal romantic priorities

Childrearing techniques for soon-to-be or current parents

Ethomedicine and biomedicine for medical professionals

The cultural and biological use of medicinal plants

Eating like a human omnivore

Cultural awareness training for personal and professional growth

Anthropology mentorships with me require a commitment over time. You may choose the amount of time in four ways:

Program I - 3 Sessions ($500)

Program II - 5 Sessions ($700)

Program III - 10 Sessions ($1300)

Program IV - 20 Sessions ($2000)

Each session consists of discussion and activities with a light homework assignment to prepare you for the next session and to further your development.

Sessions are one-on-one in person (New York City) and/or on the phone nationally or internationally. Each session lasts one hour and is scheduled at a mutually convenient date and time - usually once a week.

Relevant questions may be asked in between sessions via email. I will answer these questions in one email response as soon as possible before our next session.

My teaching style and approach is practical, challenging and fun. You will learn much to apply in your life if you can go with this flow.

All programs are to be paid in full in advance. There are no refunds once we’ve mutually committed through this payment. I will be creating your program especially for you in its entirety from day one.

Due to the high demand on my time, I unfortunately cannot offer discounts.

For any additional questions, please send an email HERE.
